This role involves various responsibilities, such as ticketing, check-in, baggage handling, and resolving customer issues. The position may require physical abilities, including lifting and standing, and the ability to work under tight time constraints. Responsibilities:
• Provide friendly and positive customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Handle ticketing, check-in, and baggage services using computerized systems.
• Manage reservations, resolve complaints, and handle cash, checks, credit cards, and vouchers as forms of payment.
• Assist customers in a polite and friendly manner, answering inquiries and providing information.
• Deal with mishandled customers due to oversells, delays, cancellations, or lost baggage.
• Communicate current flight information and assist with emergencies.
• Complete necessary forms and reports as required by the company.
Requirements:
• Ability to type and use a computer keyboard efficiently.
• Read documents and follow instructions related to ticketing procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Work effectively in a team and handle stressful situations.
• Ability to meet physical requirements as specified in the job description.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate information and instructions effectively.
• No specific education or experience requirements.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to meet attendance standards.
• Shift work and overtime availability may be required.
• Foreign language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
